Fassbender Gallery is pleased to present new paintings by internationally acclaimed artist, Stefan Szczesny. In this most recent body of work , the artist once again tackles the lush tropical chaos of life. Painting directly on a ground of color photographs, Szczesny fills all available spaces with his profuse and primitive doodlings of an idealized life. By frequently using snapshots of cityscapes, the artist transports his portrayal of paradisiacal
settings directly into our lives. Originally hailing from Cologne, Germany, Stefan Szczesny maintains a studio there, as well as in New York and the Caribbean.
