Fassbender Gallery is pleased to present new paintings and drawings by German artist Udo Nöger. Working in a variety of media on layered canvas and muslin made translucent by the addition of mineral spirits, Nöger tries to capture and portray light itself. Frequently, he embodies it in rudimentary, almost ghost-like figures which provide a jumping off point into pure abstraction.
