Fassbender van Stratten Gallery for the first time is pleased to present new paintings and drawings by New York artist Melissa Meyer.

Meyer's paintings have a literary flavor, a representational savor--Graceland via Walden Pond. You think of ponds, lakes, gardens, and poems, as if Meyer's brushwork would break into language, if not quite a song and dance. This is life seen through rose-colored glasses, with Meyer at the top of her form.
