In her most recent exhibition of sculptures, Linda Horn once again returns to the study of humanity’s love/hate relationship with nature. Specifically, she addresses the destruction of nature and our subsequent rebuilding of it in our own image, often with humorous results. These updated pastorals bridge the gap between the splendour of arcadian creation and the stunted and slapdash results of our own misbegotten science projects.

*Biophilia, a term coined by Harvard entomologist Edward Wilson, describes the human bond with other species.
